Oh look....yet another slice of excellence from Steve Cobby (this time with Rich Arthurs), hot on the heels of Captivated. This one starts off with a single guitar part and then slowly builds into long, gentle psychedelia. It sounds like sunshine bottled, dawn in an mp3 file, ten minutes of bliss, a brand new ghetto blaster, a good mood guaranteed.

More good stuff from Mr C. Am I alone in thinking that this one is paced a bit like an early Mike Oldfield piece?

Eek! In danger of spoiling it for me Swede.

Or should I be more open minded about Mike Oldfield?

More Pat Metheny and Manuel Gottsching than Mr Oldfield, but as an infant I played my dads copy of Tubular Bells to death so far from a slur in this quarter.

Consider me reprimanded. Never took to Tubular Bells but probably never gave it a chance. Manuel Gottsching makes sense.

It's new to me Adam but I like it very much. As Mr. C. said it is a bit like Pat Metheny but I miss his picking jazzy guitar. You can't compare to Mike Oldfield because he never made a sound like this. And you don't have to listen to Tubular Bells. There is more (German Krautrock) in these times that is worth to listen.

I was going to review this. But your description's so perfect I don't think I'll bother.
